For example, Keshcarrigan is a small village next to Lough Scur which lies at the foot of the Sheebeg and Sheemore hills. An ancient pagan burial site where Finn McCumhaill is said to be buried deep into Sheebeg Hill. A visitor centre is also located here to commemorate the 1798 rebellion and the Battle of Ballinamuck.
