Venture south to Dunmore East Lose yourself in the old-world charm of Dunmore East where thatched cottages and colourful shop fronts line the streets. Explore the sheltered coves of Waterford’s coastline. Wander in the shade along the 6km loop woodland walk to see enchanting sunlight dance on a leafy canopy.
In Tramore stroll along the promenade pick up picnic supplies. Take the upper road to Dunhill Eco Park to see butter being made with Irish Gourmet Butter. Visit Lafcadio Hearn inspired gardens and traverse the globe with a Victorian, American, Greek and a series of Japanese inspired landscapes. Pass Clonea Beach, a long stretch of golden sand, to Stradbally Cove, a charming place for a waterside picnic.
